post-sunlight, this is where everyone takes up their place.
Faith is almost hidden here, but she's usually entirely under the covers.
(My space is triangulated between the 3 of them.)

1/28/16

I keep taking a photo of the back of the dog park to see how long this all-day shaded patch is going to last. The center is getting clear-iced now. An dog that's going full throttle and doesn't bail will be sliding directly into the fence with its face.

1/23/16 Saturday

I went with Deana to check out a little archery school in Colorado Springs. Lemme just say, it's a lot harder than it looks. We are on the baby side, with the wall REALLY close, and circus paper targets. I took lucky slot 13 and shot for the tiger (hit him square on about 5 times out of about 40 and got close around him about 25. The other ten were WAY off.

We stopped in at Mom and Dad's for a Regal visit. He had both paws on either side of my head and kept rubbing his head and back forth.

Grabbed dinner and had dessert and a movie back at her place, under a full moon.

and back in time for coffee with Evan today!

It's not easy to know,
I'm not anything like I used to be.
Although it's true,
I was never attention's sweet center,
I still remember that girl.

She's imperfect but she tries.
She is good but she lies.
She is hard on herself.
She is broken and won't ask for help.
She is messy but she's kind.
She is lonely most of the time.
She is all of this mixed up
And baked in a beautiful pie.
She is gone but she used to be mine.

Breakfast Time

Stood in the kitchen for a moment this morning and realized I had 5 creatures around me having breakfast of one sort of another while I prepared mine.

By the time I'd snapped everyone, the fifth, who'd been pushing around the kitty food can, had rumbled upstairs with his prize.

suncat and her shadow

When Katy ruled the roost, no cats were ever allowed access to large patches of sunlight on the floor without fear of herding and furious barking.

They seem to be catching on that this is a rule that has been lifted.

Faith's shadow caught my eye, so tried to catch it as it moved with her.

taken in about 20 seconds, here's the flipogram version
