2017 Thanksgiving

 It was the first Thanksgiving at the Saltsman cabin. 

On the last turn before arrival we spotted these guys among the aspens 

Made it just ahead of sunset, since there are no street lights in this part of the country. We had dinner,  I finished up work, and everyone hit the hay.

that evening, an old friend posted a picture from Thanksgiving, circa 1978 of our Brownie troop making Thanksgiving decorations. (I'm spiking an apple with cinnamon and cloves.) 

Regal was always happy to provide assistance with the puzzle.

sleeping in the basement meant any time Mom or Dad would walk around the living area, Aidan would "watch" them from below.
