6/27/21 Marci Day

oh, I've neglected to share the ongoing Frozen Shoulder saga here, but it grows more painful  by the day when I forget and try to use my right arm to reach certain directions. So the same evening Marci came over to spend the night and head out on an early hike, the TENs machine arrived, to help with the pain.  So here's the photo for posterity of me running around with a ton of wires pulsing electric waves all over my upper arm in some kind of cool sci-fi version of myself.

We didn't get out early enough for sunrise, so I stepped out in the backyard when I saw it happening instead.

and also the front :)

But with the clouds and the cool breeze in the upper 50s, it was a very nice 2+ miles with the pups around the lake.

we came back and spent the rest of the day reminiscing, going out to lunch and shopping before she had to head back to Idaho Springs.

Colbie Quinn, Week 2

I know my luck isn't going to hold out and I'll not get nearly as many photos as the weeks pass (and the parents pass out from sleepless nights) but week 2 was a boon for baby pics.

At her first doctor's visit, Nick sent a photo of Room #7, which turned out to be the Puppy Room!

On her second visit, they got the Harry Potter room!

On Wednesday, Nick & Ali's 3rd Anniversary, Colbie one week old today:

moving boxes everywhere!

Today, Colbie's room was moved into first, complete with crib assembly

trying it out!

Full Moon June

Bob flew down to help with the big move (and, let's be honest, mainly to hold Colbie) and his flight left at 5:30 a.m. Thursday. That meant a 2:45 a.m. wake up call. That's early even for me.

On the way back in, the clouds were moving in (bringing 20 degree cooler temps through the weekend, yay!) but the full moon was doing its best to peek out. Granted, cell phone, in a moving car, in the dark, but you get the gist.

Friday morning moonset was much clearer

Saturday morning (today at this writing)

after another rainfall and I wasn't expecting any color, but it showed up all the same.
