The first weekend in February I made it out to my first Festival of the Arts
with Sammi & Jason and Julie.

This was the last trip to see the top of Splash Mountain. By the time I visited again in May, it had been dismantled to make way for the new ride. But as it was set to close and there was much discussion, I came across a post pointing out that you can see Brer Rabbit's profile, which I had never spotted before, so I took my own last photo while I was there.
From there, I flew to Houston for the next week to work from Steph's house and check in with Marie at the South Belt Leader.
