11-4-12 sunrise, sunset

11-4-12 just tired

11-4-12 a day's progress

I have a feeling the spikes on the little graph are going to be peaking on weekends and very flat the rest of the week. Does this mean I can quit my day job?

11-3-12 Taking the plunge

Here's to 50K by the end of the month. I've been hesitant, year after year, to even set up a profile since that means people know I'm working on something. So...  now you know.

11-2-12 Autumn Leaves

With almost none left on the trees here, but plenty waiting for me to rake tomorrow, and some very gray skies, it's definitely an appropriate Song of the Day.

These are some of the ones that've kept me company this morning.

11-1-12 November Blooms

Trish Turner, you are such a sweetie. The surprise of having these delivered to my door has made my day! The fall leaves and sunflower mix is gorgeous. (How did you know they were my favorite?!) And they smell amazing. They are lovely. You are lovely. And you are very welcome!

11-1-12 November Dawns

"The leaves were falling on all sides like the last illusions of youth under the tears of irremediable grief.  A brood of chattering birds were chasing each other through the shrubberies, and playing games among the branches, like a knot of hiding schoolboys.  Every landscape is, as it were, a state of the soul, and whoever penetrates into both is astonished to find how much likeness there is in each detail." ~Henri-Frédéric Amiel
