Nick & Ali Visit

In addition to Sam and Jason being able to extend their trip by two weeks, we had everyone home for the weekend. Nick and Ali flew in Friday night and Ali flew home early this morning for a meeting. Nick heads back Wed. morning.

Saturday we headed up to Mom and Dad's cabin for lunch and hike.

7/1/18 Mt. Evans

Sam's friend Maggie, also a senior illustration major at Ringling, has been staying with us this past week, and this was my one day free (yesterday was end-of-month) to go with them and do something fun, and since she's from Florida and had never seen snow, and it was beautiful, we decided to drive up to the very top of Mt. Evans, a trip we'd only made once, the first weekend we lived in Colorado some 11 years ago.

I was reading the above when I heard Sam come around the corner and say, "UMMMM?!?" and I turned around to see this guy standing behind me.

but he srcambled back out onto the rocks pretty quickly with his crew.
