Saturday's adventure was the longest e-bike ride so far, from Frisco to Vail Pass and back, about 38 miles round trip. This time, Marci's friend Susie went along so we actually got a couple of photos of us together, too.

A Mid-August Weekend

our plan to bike ride to Georgetown was scuttled when Marci discovered there was a half marathon using the same route starting this morning. So instead, we tried a new hiking trail across the road and up behind the old Argo Gold Mining operation.

We did about five miles round trip, but that was turning around while Ren decided to go on up and see how far the trail was. It turns out he hiked nearly another 3 miles to get to the end!
August Catch Up
First half of August is already gone, somehow. Not that I mind getting through the hottest month of the year as quickly as possible.
Mostly, as usual, it's all dogs around here. One 12 mile bike ride with Marci. A lot clear mornings with no clouds or color.
