Saturday & Sunday we hit up Shipleys: Saturday for donuts and Sunday for kolaches.
Saturday afternoon I drove out to Cinco Ranch to meet Leanne who had driven in from Brenham for lunch at Bonefish Grille. We hadn't seen one another since she'd come to visit in 2010.
We had a great time catching up and wandering some of the shops, including the cupcake place.
Sunday afternoon we hit up the zoo to meet Courtney, Nathan, Shepherd, and baby boy #2 due in a month.

At two, he's just wiley enough to figure out how to get through to the water.
What I didn't have in pictures was all kinds of odd tangents: taking Jamie to Hobby Airport, meeting up with Steph's parents for a quick bite Saturday night, sitting on the couch sorting and scanning photos, getting the Monterrey House candy from Lisa, who'd actually eaten my batch and had to buy a fresh one from last week before I got into town. It was a crazy, fun weekend.
