yesterday morning on our walk we came across this little fella all alone in the grass. He'd spent the night there.
It also clearly got a lot of views, assuming maybe 10% of viewers react to any given post.
Knowing how precious these can be to little ones (I was thinking of Nick's Old Bear if he'd been dropped out of a stroller on a walk) I scooped him up and brought him back home to see if we couldn't locate his owner.
I made a little collage of other baby bunnies hoping that would catch some interest on the Word of Mouth Highlands Ranch page (otherwise it would sink into oblivion and few of the nearly 30,000 pairs of eyeballs who are members of the page would never spot it)
and wrote a post, which, when a grabbed a screen capture for this post, contains a spoiler alert, because about 12 hours after I posted it, I got a message both from the mom and grandmom of the little girl who was missing him. Turns out he was a special gift from grandma.
