The make-up day for our rained out June weekend was today, with my favorite yogi, and it was perfect.
In June, the sun rises too early to be able to watch it from Red Rocks.
But early September sunrises don't happen until 6:30.
So I made my way up to Red Rocks early in the dark, and was rewarded with a gorgeous view out over Denver.

they finally turned off the flood lights
afterwards, Blackbird Cafe was so good last time, we had to go again.
and I stopped off by one of the little parks along the route to enjoy the water for just a bit
