Snow, and then Monet

When last I left the blog, I'd read the ticket as $25. Surprise! There was another side with another $100 for the tow. So, not so great. But lesson learned.

Then we had Sammi's second dress fitting, which of course I can't show anyone.

Except we did both show up from different places to the appointment both wearing out Hadestown shirts, so I can share that.

and there were a couple of days of just dogs and sunrises

And then it snowed.

And we had a blast.

after the snow stopped and the blue skies came out:

On Saturday, Sammi and I went to see the Monet exhibit at the Denver Art Museum.

It's been decades since this large of a showing of his work has been presented anywhere, with more than 120 of his paintings from all over his travels, so we felt lucky it had come to us in Denver.

a scene in Paris, where he includes many people, but they are already sketchy, more an impression of people than any real detail.

he became much more drawn to the natural elements around the people, and soon, there just weren't very many people to be found in his work
