Marci got back to Colorado a bit earlier this year and we met up first at McKenzie's house for her baby shower & gender reveal. On entry, you had to pick a sticker guessing which gender she was expecting. Before seeing her, I'd popped on the boy option so we were of the same mind. And we were right!
for Marci's birthday month we met up in Fort Collins to tour the CSU Gardens and the 1879 Avery House
The Avery House began much smaller but as the family's fortunes grew, so too did the home, added on several times, lived in by generations, and in the 70s as it fell into disrepair, was taken over by the Poudre Valley Historical Society who runs tours of the restored home showcasing some of the family's own belongings as well as turn of the century period appropriate furnishings.
Since Marci's home in Idaho Springs was built in 1890 and she is on the hunt for period appropriate wallpapers this home had a plethora of ideas.
