Our week as a two-dog household comes to an end in the morning, when we transport Zoe back home, and bring Aidan along for a little "meet the family" time since Amber will be watching him while we're at Disney World in December.
Zoe is as laid back as they come. She mostly just wants to be asleep near you, all the time.
She'd go along for walks in the morning, happy enough, but happier still to get back to the house for breakfast and a long nap.
Aidan is a good natured a dog as exists and is generally happy to have any company, although Zoe is not quite the playmate I imagine he dreams of.
But we've not a single issue all week, save for the strange ways they seem to want to eat one another's food instead of their own. Even that was no big deal, just amusing. Chicken broth seemed to make the settling down with one's own bowl more palatable.
Zoe slept in the basement with Bob. Aidan kept his nighttime routine with me.
That entails sleeping between the pillows and the wall.
literally between the pillows.
Morning walks weren't too bad except when one wanted to sniff one direction and the other was trying to get to the opposite side of me. We only tangled up a few times, though. And it was cute to watch them walking along together.
They both were continually disappointed with the lack of squirrel sightings in the backyard.
this was Zoe's interest in playing with the ball all week.
although Mo did make her get up and investigate...
Now whether Aidan returns the favor and is laid back enough for the Malinovsky's? We shall see. He will certainly keep the boys entertained in the backyard!
