last full moon of the decade reached totality at 12:12 (ET) on 12/12 and the clouds completely obscured any hopes of its rise along the horizon. I managed one this morning before we left on our walk, before it again sank behind clouds near sunrise.
But the sunrise felt like it could make up for that and then some...
also, on our route home today, I had to appreciate the folks who still have ice piles hanging around making the most of them with the decorations.
