Chapter 4: Road to Point Arena

The morning's drive included a stop at the Muir Beach Overlook, out to Point Reyes Lighthouse, then a stop for lunch in Point Reyes Station. 

As you can see from the map, the lighthouse is a trek out to the point and back in.

The drive way out to the Point Reyes Lighthouse was a bust, as we'd almost gotten there only to be greeted by a gate across the road (with a hill between us and the lighthouse.) That was a really long pointless detour.

On the way back we stopped at our consolation prize, a tunnel of cedar trees.  Wooo.

But the Fish & Chips were fresh at the Station House cafe and some blue sky was beginning to peek through.
