April 2025 Blooms & Pups Edition

 Probably due to growing up in the south, by the time March arrives I'm expecting warmth (and bluebonnets) which never shows up here until later in April, usually after snow keeps pushing it later, but it puts on quite a show. And another snow comes along.

 

End of April, backyard, has only 2" high green sprouts you can see in the background near the storage shed. 

April 2025 Colbie edition

April in review boils down to the grandbaby, the dogs, flowers blooming, and a trip to NYC. 

First things first. In April Colbie cheered for the first time and despite seemingly distracted during practices, popped right up knowing all the cheers on the sidelines.

 

Then there was Easter fun

  

and an outing with Mom for work!

 

and on the last day of April, Nick sent this photo of Colbie doing her best "cool chick" impression of the character Nick invented when he was her age, AKA COOL DUDE
