Next weekend will be one for the books. My only son getting married is kind of a big deal and all.
This weekend was a little more low key, but still filled with fun stuff.
Early Saturday morning sunrise was a doozy
And hour later, at Red Rocks, the purple haze was still over downtown
Later that night, I took Sam on her requested Board and Brush Session, and they had a free bonus sign offer.
Sunday afternoon we finally got to see Book of Mormon on stage at the Ellie Caukins Opera House downtown. The Year of Musicals kicked off in the same complex when we saw Waitress. After Book of Mormon, I've got tickets for Dear Evan Hansen with Amber back in this same spot in October, and then it's on to the Big Apple with Marci about two weeks after that to see Hamilton, and then Sam and I have Harry Potter & the Cursed Child in January (because I ran out of vacation days in 2018...)
Four day work week and then it's off to Texas Friday morning for the hitchin' weekend!
