May Blooms (and puppies)

Haven't had  much in the way of sunrise clouds on our walks this past week, but the joyous color bursting on all the trees and flowers is still filling our mornings with color.

roses on the way

from certain hills you can catch site of the red rocks in Roxborough against the foothills

and further south, over all the newly green trees, Pike's Peak

and there are always puppies playing

I knew to take a picture of the cheap little owl since he would be toast inside an hour.

we've also been playing with the hose a good bit on warm days
Jake's curly hair soaks up water like a sponge. He must weigh double when he's wet.

I've also started leaving a few pecans on the fence for our resident squirrel family. We retreat inside and down they come.

which makes Aidan crazy.

I'll go upstairs to watch them, and he's right at my heels.
