NYC 2023 Day 2: Peter Pan Goes Wrong

So the order of the plans started with wanting to see the spring cherry blossoms, then seeing a new block of Hamilton tickets released and getting front row balcony seats so Stephanie could finally see it, then getting a mailer from an email list I joined about tickets going on sale for New York, New York, and FINALLY, just 10 days before we leave, I see NPH's Insta post.

So that's how we ended up with three Broadway shows in the space of about 24 hours.

After the NYNY matinee, we turned around and showed up for the 8:00 p.m. show of Peter Pan Goes Wrong. This is a companion piece to The Play That Goes Wrong, which I'd seen a few years ago. I told Steph to be prepared to laugh, which we did, for hours.

Even before the play starts, as with the original, the cast and crew are running late and running into trouble. They are climbing over audience members looking for missing tools and running cords through the theater trying to get the lights to work.

That triple decker bunk bed is doomed, I promise.
