After a day of record setting temps, we surpassed the previous marker of 102° set in 1954 by hitting 104°, the newest form of torture is to look at the weather at 9:30 this evening: where I am, versus where I should be. Thanks to the single digit humidity throughout the day, it seems as though half the state is on fire simply from spontaneous combustion. This may explain the hue of the moon tonight, too.
