The first walk of August 2010 is in the books. For an hour the dogs and I walked, half toward the mountains, half with the sunrise before us. It was already in the mid-70s at 7:00 this morning and these will be the last few weeks before the weather starts to cool again and I'll be on the lookout for signs of fall color peeking through. For a while longer, though, it is all Colorado summertime and sunflowers.
