Disney Graduation Trip Part 3: Epcot Flower & Garden Festival

I was up ahead of the crew Saturday morning (big surprise) so I went up to the Old Faithful Club to bring back breakfast for the rest.

This was the only time I thought to take photos of the place, although we came back through for afternoon snacks and evening nosh several times.

The spread was always good. Plus there is always grab and go drinks and snacks to pack on the way to the parks.

Also, while I was enjoying the morning, this little guy flew up and sat next to me for a good while on the balcony.

We met Bill & Julie at the front of the park when it opened.

The only souvenir I was after was the little orange bird who was exclusive to one kiosk in Epcot during the Flower and Garden Festival. He'd sold out a few times, but they had restocked!

He was created by Disney in 1969 and adopted by the Florida Citrus Commission in 1970 when they agreed to sponsor one of the Magic Kingdom originals, the Enchanted Tiki Birds, when the park opened in 1971.

We then made our way counter-clockwise through the World Showcase, taking in the topiaries and getting really, really hot.
