The Birthday DAY review

It's more like day 5 of the birthday festivities, but yesterday was THE day.
The odometer clicked over to 45.

Mom and Dad drove up and took me, Sam, and Nick to Los Dos for lunch

As we were seeing them off and snapping a couple of photos, one of the baby robins from our nest was hanging out on the ground. He hopped and half-flew himself further away after posing.

Yesterday evening, Deana and I made our way to Morrison

big chicken!

And waited for Marci to arrive from Idaho Springs

Dinner at the Morrison Inn

free birthday sopapillas!

And then it was up to Red Rocks to see Lyle Lovett and his Large Band.

Nice set of photos and review here

Warning: endless panoramas ahead.

After trying a photo at our seats of our boots, we moved to a less "busy" area

Nice thoughts from Lyle on growing older...

Between the moon and the face on the rock created by the lights and the crevice, I think I probably took way too many photos of the same thing as it grew darker and darker.

I could either get the stage  .  .

or the moon.

The evening was cool, with a light breeze, and a beautiful nearly full blue moon.

So many birthday gifts on top of all the experiences.
Happy Birthday to me

Sadness from Sammi

new Snoopy art and journal for our upcoming road trip from Bob

Flowers from Mom and Dad

Wines, chocolate, & balloon from Deana
