Disney Day 7: LAST DAY

Yay! I made the full trip postings inside of a month! It's a miracle.

So after not getting into bed until about 1:00 a.m. from the Star Wars Fireworks, we got up at 5:00 a.m. to finish packing, take our luggage to services, and head to the park until it was time to catch the Magical Express back to the airport.

Working on 4 hours of sleep, we were surprisingly upbeat for our 7:00 a.m. rope drop. The other thing was that we had done practically everything in the Magic Kingdom so there was nothing left undone. We had Fast Pass for Space & Mine Train, and Anna&Elsa, so we got to take in the sunrise without rushing off to get in line for a ride like everyone else was doing.

We took photos, grabbed coffee at the Bakery, and just soaked it all in.

Now Casey is only taller because he's got his pedestal.

Graduating high schooler on the left, graduated college schooler on the right.

Did I mention the coffee? Jason is the lone holdout.

Through the castle:

We also ran into Cinderella's stepmother, Lady Tremaine, as well as Anastasia & Drizella

Once more for Mine Train

the lady I was riding with HATED all coasters, so she was screaming away. That's her daughter and husband behind us.

We had some time to kill, so we took in The Little Mermaid ride

Nick and Bob try to keep going through the queue without being spotted

Sam's thrilled. About 2 seconds into The Little Mermaid ride, it stopped.

the dive underwater effects

knowing they put this in, with its very static animatronics, at the same time they were putting in 7 Dwarves, whose animatronics' facial expressions move, is a little funky.

Haunted Mansion was down, but we caught it within a couple of minutes of coming back up and were able to be the first people on. The "stretch room" section had all of 10 people in it. That was awesome.

One last Splash

Our Anna & Elsa Meet and Greet was right before lunch

I love Nick's face here. Anna was complete in character and chattering away and that boy was just OVER.IT.

And just when we could barely take another step or stand in another line, blessed lunch.

one last curtsy out of Be Our Guest before it was time to get going

This is not a vacation for the weak of feet!

Next up in the interminably slow postings I keep meaning to get to . . .  Christmas!
