Out of about 10 heavily played full albums I rotate through and which came to mind immediately, I let the iTunes play count decide which were the true top five:
John Mayer's Continuum
Richard Marx
Phil Collins' No Jacket Required
Stevie Wonder's Songs in the Key of Life
Ray Lamontagne's Til' the Sun Turns Black
Great list!
ReplyDeleteI love Richard Marx too :)
John Mayer has completely passed me by - no idea what he sounds like. Love your last two :)
ReplyDeleteSeptember 1, 2010 in concert, row 3 center, at the famous outdoor Red Rock Amphitheater in Colorado, and John will always, always make my top 5 lists. New album coming out in May, although he's changing his style on almost every album. The new one is much more steel guitar, country-fied than anything he's done. Continuum was his bluesy-est effort to date.
DeleteI love Phil Collins - that's a great choice.
ReplyDeleteLoving your last two choices, how could i have forgotten Stevie Wonder?!
ReplyDeleteOh, I forgot about "No Jacket Required". So many good ones in your list.
