When November Falls

Richard Marx has to be one the best, and most unappreciated, balladeers around.

He is called by Lionel Ritchie while he's still in high school to come out to L.A., ends up singing backup on Ritchie's first two solo albums, then went on to work with David Foster co-writing songs and singing backup on Chicago 17 in the mid-80s before launching his solo career. He sang background on Billy Joel's Storm Front, and on and on. His list of credits is amazing for someone who most people lump into the "whatever happened to..." category.
