3-10-12 The Saturday Road Trip

The Road  Trip: Colorado Springs to Dumas on Saturday 3-10-12

Six hours, boiled down to 20 minutes, and that is pretty much EVERY single thing you could possibly see on the drive.

The rest is, shall we say, slightly repetitive.

You will hear plenty of music, although it's a tiny sample of the official 2012 Road Trip Playlist, which currently consists of 140+ songs and over 9 hours of music, which is not enough to get us there and back without starting over.

The playlist is a tricky thing. They have to be catchy songs, upbeat, making you tap your feet and dance around in your seat (crucial for good circulation!) Most should be sing-along, belt it out lyrics that you can laugh at one another while you make rock star faces. They should also keep you occupied enough that, should you need to pee, you are at least slightly distracted.

We got through 75 songs yesterday, although that was with a slight pause while Sammi drove the second part of her stretch and requested some Broadway Tunes.
