11-22-12 Thanksgiving without Snoopy

Since 1968, Snoopy has been a balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. Since 1970-something, I have watched the Snoopy balloon in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade. He's been the Flying Ace, an Astronaut, an Ice Skater . . .  there is always a Snoopy balloon.

Today, I waited all morning for the Snoopy balloon.

I'm still waiting.

As it turns out, the brilliant minds at Macy's decided twelve-year-olds weren't that interested in Snoopy.

Two thoughts here:

1. How many twelve-year-olds are currently shopping at Macy's with their disposable income? Show of hands?

2. The parents of this crop of twelve-year-olds aren't doing their job right.
