Obscure Song #10: "Almost Everything"
I really wanted to talk about "Days in Avalon," the title track off of this album, because I really like it. However, it did spend a bit of time on the Adult Contemporary chart when it came out in 2000, which makes it less obscure. But really, show of hands, how many of you can sing the tune to me?
There's something interesting going on with this album (released in 2000) and his voice. It's more gravel sounding than it is now, twelve years later. How does that happen?
Case in point is this strange favorite of mine.
(There's another track on this album that makes my Obscurity list, but that's for another day.)
